Congratulations. Bullseye. A horrible amount of internet/computer stuff got completely self-referential and disconnected from the world that a huge amount of people see.
And after all computers were there to help, and reduce tedious work, not to increase it and make things even more anoying.
Some professor of mine told once on the topic of software engineering “A software must outweigh the amount of work it takes to create, maintain and use it with its real-life positive effects, otherwise it is a worthless annoyance.”
